Brett and Candice Sears led the Western Pennsylvania AI Summit and R&D Innovation Sprint with Intermediate Unit 1 at Charleroi High School. District leaders from IU1’s consortium explored AI strategy together. They then worked with vetted edtech partners in an innovation sprint built around their own problems of practice. IU1 later brought eight of its districts through a three-day AI Community Playbook Lab.
