AI Professional Development

Human-Centered AI Training for Educators, Leaders,
and Communities
Our approach

"I want to do the right thing with AI. I just don't know what the right thing is."

We do not start with what AI can do. We start with what educators need it to do.

Amplify & Elevate Innovation begins with concerns, curiosity, and honest dialogue. We help education communities define healthy AI practices, then give educators hands-on experience with the tools that support their goals.

The result is professional learning grounded in confidence, purpose, and informed judgment.

Leadership first

The Leadership-First Cascade

Training starts with superintendents and administrators. When leaders go first, teachers feel supported instead of surveilled.

The cascade works in sequence: leadership alignment, then administrator sessions, then educator workshops, then student listening sessions, then family forums. Each level builds on the one before it.

Most districts start with a teacher workshop and hope it trickles up. AEI starts at the top and builds down.

Frameworks That Give People Shared Language

The AI Sandwich™

Human sets intent → AI helps → Human validates. The human is the bread.

The rAInbow Scale™

Red: no AI. Yellow: with permission. Green: freely allowed. One language for everyone.

FAQ

What AI PD do teachers need?

Start with leadership, and address teachers’ human questions first. Then add frameworks, vetted tools, and hands-on practice.

We start with leadership alignment and make space for real questions. Then we introduce the AI Sandwich and the Red/Yellow/Green scale, move to hands-on practice, and close with personal goal-setting.

Resistance usually means not feeling heard. Listen first, acknowledge concerns, and honor teachers’ expertise.
