Frameworks

Our Frameworks

Five frameworks that give school communities a shared language for AI, one that puts educators, students, families, and leaders at the center of the work.

Built to be used together

Each framework on this page does distinct work. Together, they give a school community a shared language for the conversation about AI that’s already happening.

The AI Sandwich Strategy

The AI Sandwich Strategy™

A three-step mental model that gives any educator a transferable way to use AI well. Human thinking first, AI in the middle, human judgment last. The result is work that carries the educator’s voice and craft, not generic AI output.

Rainbow Scale

The rAInbow Scale™

A graduated approach that helps a school community move from AI avoidance to AI fluency, together. Educators, students, and families end up sharing the same language for what responsible AI use looks like at each grade band, in every classroom.

Pass the Mic

Pass the Mic™

A structured listening practice that surfaces every voice in the room in under ten minutes, then reflects the community’s wisdom back inside the same session. The room leaves having built something together, in real time, that they recognize as their own.

Meaningful but Menial™

A lens for identifying the work AI can take off your plate so you can spend more of your time on the work only you can do. Educators give themselves their evenings back. Leaders trade formatting time for strategy. Parents get to be present at dinner instead of typing another email to the school.

Paired with the AI Sandwich Strategy, it becomes a practical filter for what AI is genuinely good at handling. The meaningful part keeps purpose at the center while the menial part marks what can be safely delegated. The simplest way to start is to take ten minutes at the end of your week and list every task that fits the description.

Wisdom Collection™

The practice of listening to a school community before drafting any AI guidance for it. The outcome is policy that reads like the community’s own language, framework decisions that anticipate the concerns that matter most, and rollouts that land well because the people who have to live with them already see themselves in them.

Wisdom Collection is the first phase of every Amplify and Elevate Innovation engagement. The mechanism is the Pass the Mic protocol, which surfaces every voice and reflects the community’s wisdom back inside the same session. The authority of everything that follows comes from that moment.
