The Connecticut General Assembly’s Commission on Women, Children, Seniors, Equity & Opportunity hosted a March series of AI awareness webinars. Brett joined the March 21 panel, “Chatbot Protections for Children and Older Adults,” a 60-minute conversation on keeping young people and older adults safe as AI chatbots enter daily life.
Specifically, it focused on safe AI practices for families, recognizing unhealthy AI relationships, mental health and crisis recognition, as well as addressing proposed Connecticut bills on AI protections and privacy: SB 5 and SB 86.
